Students’ Need to Increase Ethically Acceptable Paraphrasing of Academic Texts

The lack of Indonesian students performing their abilities in L1 paraphrasing becomes the primary reason they are labeled as persistent plagiarizers. Students, context and circumstances, need to broaden perspectives regarding how document sources, using them original papers support defend arguments. Literacy should be developed sustainably order for might critically think state things with evidence. However, say that still developing English writing text intentional plagiarism will appear overly harsh. Teachers, at university level, acknowledge students’ commitment is process knowing its definition, characters, impacts, habit copying others’ work without any attempt it properly. Moreover, also signs teachers ability use academic needs improving. Observing these facts urges us facilitate make ready conduct paraphrase L2 texts while EAP developing. This study seeks fundamental preparation made generate acceptable texts.
